Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has an overall score of 72.2, which is a lot better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1's overall score of 58.1. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 works with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 works with Android 4.0.4 OS. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a noticeably newer tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, although it's just a bit thicker and noticeably heavier.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a more powerful processor than Galaxy Tab 10.1. Both have a Dual-Core processor. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a bigger display, a lot higher 1440 x 2160 resolution and more pixels per screen inch.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a way lower 3 megapixels resolution camera in the back and a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
