The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 works with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 comes with Android 4.4.2 OS. Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is noticeably heavier than the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, it's just a little bit thinner and also newer.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a better display density, a way bigger screen and a way better resolution of 1440 x 2160px. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a much bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 counts with just a bit better performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 also counts with an extra graphics processor.
