Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab Active, getting a 72.2 score against 67. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 works with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, while Galaxy Tab Active works with Android 4.4 OS. Although the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and the Galaxy Tab Active were released with only a couple of months difference, Microsoft Surface Pro 3's body is just a little bit thinner but heavier than the Galaxy Tab Active.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active counts with a little bit better screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a bit worse display density, a lot worse resolution of 1280 x 800px and a really smaller screen. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features just a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU and 2 less CPU cores , it also counts with more RAM. Galaxy Tab Active has a slightly better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a lot less mega pixels resolution camera and a much worse 1280x720 video quality.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a way better battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 costs more than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
