Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a general score of 72.2, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2's 65.7 global score. Despite being the best device in this review, we must highlight that it is also older, a lot thicker and notably heavier. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 works with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, while Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 comes with Android operating system.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has just a bit better display than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a better amount of pixels per inch in the display and a quite better 1536 x 2048 resolution. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features much more storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, because it has 512 GB internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features a little better processing power than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a greater number of cores. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features a really longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with a way better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 also has a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi Pad 2. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro 3, else you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, giving up a couple features and specs.
