Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, with a global score of 67 against 61.4. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 comes with Android 4.4.2 OS, while Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has Windows 8.1 Pro OS. Even though Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 were released with only 2 months difference, Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is notably lighter and somewhat thinner.

The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's CPU is very similar to Microsoft Surface Pro 3's processor, because although the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has 2,5 GB less RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores and an extra graphics processor. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has just a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a much better 1440 x 2160 resolution, a bigger screen and a higher count of pixels per display inch.

Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a little bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a much less mega pixels resolution camera in the back and a lot lower (HD) video quality. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a superior storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.

In addition to being the best tablet in our current comparison, the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is also by far the cheapest one.
