Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a global score of 75.1, which is better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2's global score of 65.1. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a a lot newer tablet, and it's also somewhat lighter and way thinner than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2. Both tablets in this review have Windows OS, but Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has an older 10 Pro version while Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has Windows 8.1 Pro version.

Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a way better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has less RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and faster). Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has just a bit better display than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has more pixels per inch in the screen, a bigger screen and a much higher resolution of 1824 x 2736px.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a way higher 1920x1080 video definition. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 1000 GB internal memory capacity.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 have incredibly similar battery durations.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a lot more expensive than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
