Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is better than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, with a overall score of 75.1 against 65. These devices come with Windows OS, but the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has 10 Pro version while Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has Windows 8. Microsoft Surface Pro 4's construction is noticeably newer, but way heavier and a little bit thicker than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a little bit better display than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a larger display, a way higher 1824 x 2736px resolution and a lot better pixel count per display inch. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 features a much better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 counts with a better camera than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 also has a much more megapixels camera.
Samsung ATIV Tab 3's battery performance is just as good as the battery life in Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
