Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a global score of 75.1, which is slightly better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 5's score of 69.2. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Windows OS (Operating System), but Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has older 10 Pro version while Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has Windows 8. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 body is way newer and somewhat thinner than Samsung ATIV Tab 5's, but it is also a little heavier.
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a brighter screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because it has a way greater count of pixels per inch of display, a little larger screen and a way higher resolution of 1824 x 2736px. Samsung ATIV Tab 5 features a lot better processing power than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has 14 GB less RAM, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 5. Both have a 8 MP resolution camera. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung ATIV Tab 5. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung ATIV Tab 5, letting go a couple specs and features.
