The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a newer tablet than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, but it's just a bit thicker and much heavier. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has Windows 10 Pro operating system, and Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 works with Android 4.4.2 operating system.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a brighter display than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a much better 1824 x 2736px resolution, a bigger display and a lot greater screen density.
