Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, with a 75.1 score against 74.5. Despite being the best tablet in this review, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 design is noticeably older, a bit thicker and much heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 comes with Windows 10 Pro OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 comes with Android 9.0 Pie OS.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a very superior CPU than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and they are faster). Microsoft Surface Pro 4 counts with a better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because it has a just a bit higher quantity of pixels in each inch in the display, a way better 1824 x 2736 resolution and a larger display.
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 counts with a superior storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features a really longer battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features a way better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 4. Both of them have the same video frame rates, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a back facing camera with an 8 mega-pixels.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a better device, it costs a little more money than the Galaxy Tab A 10.5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab A 10.5. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab A 10.5, letting go a couple specifications.
