Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), having a global score of 75.1 against 74.6. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 comes with Windows 10 Pro OS, while Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) counts with Android 9.0 Pie OS. Despite being the best in our current comparison, we must highlight that it is also older, extremely heavier and somewhat thicker.
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has a just a little lower pixels density, it also counts with a lot larger display and a much better resolution of 1824 x 2736. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features a much greater performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a greater number of cores.
Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) counts with a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 4. Both of them have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the same video frame rates and a back facing camera with an 8 megapixels resolution. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 968 GB more internal storage capacity.
Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has a much longer battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro 4.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020). So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro 4, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), resigning a couple specs and features.
