Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has an overall score of 75.1, which is much better than Galaxy Tab A 9.7's 60.5 score. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 works with Windows 10 Pro operating system, and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. Despite being the best tablet in this comparison, we must note that it is also a thicker and a lot heavier tablet.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a much better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with more CPU cores. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 counts with a much sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a way better quantity of pixels per inch in the display, a larger screen and a lot better 1824 x 2736 pixels resolution.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a much better (Full HD) video quality and a back camera with lot more megapixels. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 counts with a much bigger storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
