Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is much better than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, having a overall score of 81.5 against 68.7. Microsoft Surface Pro 6's design is notably newer, but much heavier and somewhat thicker than the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch. Microsoft Surface Pro 6 comes with Windows 10 OS, and Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch works with Android 4.2.2 OS.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 features a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a lot higher 2736 x 1824 resolution, a higher display pixel density and a way larger display. Microsoft Surface Pro 6 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with more processing cores and a higher amount of RAM.
Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has a superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 1000 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 6.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 6, although it has a lot lower 1280x720 video quality and a camera in the back with lot less MP.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
