Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is a lot better than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, with a global score of 81.5 against 67.8. Microsoft Surface Pro 6 comes with Windows 10 operating system, and Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 comes with Android 4.4.2 operating system. Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is a noticeably newer tablet device than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, although it is much heavier and a little bit thicker.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 also counts with 14,5 GB more RAM memory. Microsoft Surface Pro 6 features a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a much better resolution of 2736 x 1824 pixels, a larger display and a lot greater pixels number per inch of display.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 takes clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a way higher video quality and a much more mega-pixels camera. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 features a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 6.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro 6, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, giving up a couple specs and features.
