The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, having a global score of 81.5 against 78.5. Microsoft Surface Pro 6's body is noticeably newer than the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2's, although it's just a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier. Microsoft Surface Pro 6 counts with Windows 10 operating system, while Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has Android 4.4 operating system.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a much better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 6, although it has a bit lower quantity of pixels per inch of display, a quite smaller screen and a quite lower 1600 x 2560 resolution. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 features a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal memory capacity.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 6, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, giving up a couple specifications.
