Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has an overall score of 75.1, which is a lot better than the Microsoft Surface Pro's 61.1 overall score. These tablets have Windows OS (Operating System), but the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has an older 10 Pro version and Microsoft Surface Pro has Windows 8 Pro. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a much newer device, and it is also way thinner and somewhat lighter than the Microsoft Surface Pro.

Microsoft Surface Pro has a much powerful processing unit than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a graphics processing unit. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has just a bit better screen than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a much higher 1824 x 2736px resolution, a better pixel density and a bigger display.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features much more memory capacity for games and applications than Microsoft Surface Pro, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal storage. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a way better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a much better (Full HD) video definition and a way better resolution back facing camera.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a battery lifetime that is very similar to Microsoft Surface Pro's battery life.
