Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is just a bit better than Huawei MediaPad M1, getting a 66.9 score against 61.5. Even though the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is incredibly newer than Huawei MediaPad M1, it is a little thicker and heavier. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with Windows 10 OS, and Huawei MediaPad M1 comes with Android 4.2.2 OS.
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a superior CPU than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has 2 lesser cores (but faster), it also counts with 3 GB more RAM. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 and the Huawei MediaPad M1 both have quite similar displays, although the Huawei MediaPad M1 has a way worse resolution of 1280 x 800px, a way smaller display and a way worse screen pixel density.
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features a superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 120 GB more internal memory capacity. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a bit better camera than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 also has a lot better 8 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera.
Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with a very superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 7.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei MediaPad M1. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro 7, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Huawei MediaPad M1, resigning some features and specs.
