Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a little bit better than Lenovo ThinkPad 8, with a score of 66.9 against 64.2. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 design is just a bit thinner but a lot heavier than the Lenovo ThinkPad 8. These tablets use Windows OS, but the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a newer 10 version and Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has Windows 8.1, so it provides the user a lot of extra features.
Lenovo ThinkPad 8 features a slightly better display than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, because although it has a really smaller screen and a much lower 1920 x 1200 resolution, it also counts with a quite better pixel density. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 and Lenovo ThinkPad 8 feature quite similar storage for games and applications, both of them have exactly the same internal memory capacity.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Lenovo ThinkPad 8, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with 2 GB more RAM. The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 features a battery duration that is just as good as Microsoft Surface Pro 7's battery life. Lenovo ThinkPad 8 and Microsoft Surface Pro 7 feature quite similar cameras, both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the same video frame rate and the same resolution camera in the back.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Lenovo ThinkPad 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Lenovo ThinkPad 8. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Lenovo ThinkPad 8, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
