Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a general score of 66.9, which is much better than the Microsoft Surface RT's general score of 58.4. Both devices we compare here use Windows OS (Operating System), but the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has an older 10 version while Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a way newer and somewhat thinner tablet than Microsoft Surface RT, although it's somewhat heavier.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a little faster CPU than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has 2 lesser cpu cores (although faster) and doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a better screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because it has a way greater screen pixels density, a way higher 2736 x 1824 resolution and a bigger display.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 also has a camera in the back with a lot better 8 MP resolution. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a way bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.

Microsoft Surface RT's battery lifetime is very similar to the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 one.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Microsoft Surface RT. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Microsoft Surface RT, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
