Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a score of 66.9, which is a bit better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3's 65 general score. Both tablets we compare here include Windows OS (operating system), but Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has 10 version and Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has Windows 8, so it provides you some extra features and optimized performance. Even though the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is way newer than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, it is incredibly heavier and just a little thicker.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features a better processing unit than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 also has a larger amount of RAM. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a bit more vivid display than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a lot higher display density, a way better resolution of 2736 x 1824px and a larger screen.
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 shoots better pictures and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 also has a much higher resolution back-facing camera. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage.
Samsung ATIV Tab 3's battery duration is just as good as the battery performance in Microsoft Surface Pro 7.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
