The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a score of 66.9, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s general score of 60.7. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 works with Windows 10 OS, while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) works with Android 4.1 OS. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a much newer and thinner tablet than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), although it is also noticeably heavier.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features just a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a lot better resolution of 2736 x 1824 pixels, a lot greater display pixel density and a lot bigger display. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage capacity.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a very superior processor than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 shoots clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a lot more mega-pixels back camera and a lot better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a way better battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 7.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro 7, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), giving up a couple specs and features.
