Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, with a score of 66.9 against 65.6. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has Windows 10 OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 works with Android 4.4.2 OS. Even though Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a lot heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, it's just a bit thinner and newer.
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a bit better screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, although it has a just a bit worse display pixels density, a lot smaller screen and a much lower resolution of 1280 x 800. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features a much greater storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features a better performance than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has 2 less cpu cores , it also counts with 2,5 GB more RAM. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 takes better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, although it has a lot worse 1280x720 video resolution and a much lower 3 mega-pixels resolution camera.

So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro 7, else you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, giving up some features and specifications.
