Microsoft Surface RT has an overall score of 56.8, which is a bit better than HTC EVO View 4G's 56.4 general score. Even though the Microsoft Surface RT is a lot heavier than HTC EVO View 4G, it's incredibly thinner and also newer. Microsoft Surface RT counts with Windows RT operating system, while HTC EVO View 4G works with Android 3.2 operating system.
Microsoft Surface RT has a little bit better hardware performance than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has 1 GB more RAM memory, an additional graphics processing unit and a greater number of cores. The HTC EVO View 4G features a slightly better looking display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a lot worse resolution of 600 x 1024px and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little greater pixels density.
HTC EVO View 4G features a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 video resolution, the HTC EVO View 4G also has a much higher 5 MP resolution camera. The HTC EVO View 4G features a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Microsoft Surface RT. Both of them have the same internal storage.
The HTC EVO View 4G features a way better battery duration than Microsoft Surface RT.
The Microsoft Surface RT costs a bit more money than the HTC EVO View 4G, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
