Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has an overall score of 68.5, which is much better than Microsoft Surface RT's score of 58.4. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 works with Android 4.2.2 OS, while Microsoft Surface RT comes with Windows RT OS. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a newer tablet device, and it is also way lighter and thinner than Microsoft Surface RT.
