Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 has an overall score of 61.8, which is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface RT's score of 58.4. The Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 construction has the same thickness than the Microsoft Surface RT, but it is somewhat lighter. Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 has Android 4.2 operating system, while Microsoft Surface RT counts with Windows RT operating system.
The Microsoft Surface RT features a bit better CPU than Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM memory, the Microsoft Surface RT also has a better graphics co-processor working at 520 MHz and a larger number of cores (although slower). Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 counts with a better looking screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater pixels quantity per inch in the screen and a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920px.
The Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 features a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 also has a back camera with a much better resolution. Microsoft Surface RT has a bit bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage.
The Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface RT.
Although Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Microsoft Surface RT. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Microsoft Surface RT, letting go a couple features and specs.
