Microsoft Surface RT has a general score of 58.4, which is a little bit better than HTC EVO View 4G's 56.4 overall score. The Microsoft Surface RT works with Windows RT operating system, and HTC EVO View 4G works with Android 3.2 operating system. Microsoft Surface RT's design is newer and noticeably thinner than the HTC EVO View 4G's, although it's notably heavier.

The HTC EVO View 4G features a slightly better looking screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a way lower resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit better pixels amount in each inch in the display. Microsoft Surface RT has a bit better processing unit than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has a graphics processing unit, 3 more cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.

Microsoft Surface RT features a little bit better storage capacity for games and applications than HTC EVO View 4G, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory. The HTC EVO View 4G counts with a greater camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the HTC EVO View 4G also has a back-facing camera with a way better 5 MP resolution.

The HTC EVO View 4G counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface RT.

The Microsoft Surface RT costs a bit more money than the HTC EVO View 4G, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
