The Lenovo Moto Tab has a score of 64.4, which is much better than Microsoft Surface RT's 58.4 overall score. The Lenovo Moto Tab body is a lot newer, thinner and way lighter than Microsoft Surface RT. The Lenovo Moto Tab has Android 7.1 Nougat operating system, while Microsoft Surface RT comes with Windows RT operating system.
The Lenovo Moto Tab has a little sharper display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a way higher screen pixel density. The Lenovo Moto Tab has a bit more powerful processing unit than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Lenovo Moto Tab also counts with 4 more CPU cores.
Lenovo Moto Tab features a slightly bigger memory to store more apps and games than Microsoft Surface RT, although it has less internal storage. The Lenovo Moto Tab takes a lot better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Lenovo Moto Tab also has a back facing camera with lot more MP.
The Lenovo Moto Tab counts with a superior battery life than Microsoft Surface RT.
Although Lenovo Moto Tab is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Microsoft Surface RT. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Lenovo Moto Tab, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Microsoft Surface RT, resigning some specifications.
