Comparison review
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is a bit better than the Microsoft Surface RT, getting a general score of 64.2 against 58.4. These tablets have Windows OS, but the Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has older 8.1 version and Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT. Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is a just a little thinner and a lot lighter tablet than the Microsoft Surface RT.
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 features a more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 1920 x 1200 resolution and way more pixels per inch of display. Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has much more memory for games and applications than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 counts with a bit superior processor than Microsoft Surface RT, although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, they both have a Quad-Core processor and the same RAM memory amount. Lenovo ThinkPad 8 features a very superior camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Lenovo ThinkPad 8 also has a much better 8 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 counts with a battery performance that's just as good as the battery lifetime in Microsoft Surface RT.
Although Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Microsoft Surface RT. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Microsoft Surface RT, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
