Comparison review
The LG G Pad 8.3 is much better than the Microsoft Surface RT, getting a overall score of 65.9 against 58.4. LG G Pad 8.3 comes with Android 4.4 OS, while Microsoft Surface RT comes with Windows RT OS. The LG G Pad 8.3 construction is newer, somewhat thinner and way lighter than the Microsoft Surface RT.
The LG G Pad 8.3 features a much sharper display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a lot more pixels per screen inch and a lot better 1200 x 1920 resolution. Microsoft Surface RT has a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G Pad 8.3, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Microsoft Surface RT has a bit better processing unit than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit and 2 GB of RAM, the Microsoft Surface RT also has an extra GPU. LG G Pad 8.3 has a very superior battery life than Microsoft Surface RT. The LG G Pad 8.3 takes a lot better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
LG G Pad 8.3 is a lot more expensive than Microsoft Surface RT, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
