The Microsoft Surface Go is better than Microsoft Surface RT, getting a score of 66.5 against 58.4. Both of these devices include Windows OS (operating system), but Microsoft Surface Go has an older 10 version while Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT version. Microsoft Surface Go is a much newer portable tablet, and it is also much lighter and thinner than Microsoft Surface RT.

Microsoft Surface RT features a little bit better performance than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra GPU and a larger number of cores. The Microsoft Surface Go has a little bit better display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1800 x 1200 pixels and more pixels per screen inch.

The Microsoft Surface Go features a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage. Microsoft Surface Go counts with a much better camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Microsoft Surface Go also has a much higher resolution camera in the back.

The Microsoft Surface RT and the Microsoft Surface Go both have similar batteries duration.

Although Microsoft Surface Go is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Microsoft Surface RT. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Go, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Microsoft Surface RT, giving up some features and specifications.
