Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface Pro has a general score of 63.2, which is a little bit better than Microsoft Surface RT's 58.4 global score. Both tablets we compare here work with Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface Pro has the previous 8 Pro version and Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT. Despite being the best tablet in this review, we must note that it is also a a lot heavier and way thicker tablet.

The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a slightly better screen than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Microsoft Surface Pro also has a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution and a higher count of pixels per screen inch. The Microsoft Surface Pro features a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.

Microsoft Surface Pro features a little faster processor than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a lower number of cores (but faster), it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a much better GPU running at 650 megahertz. The Microsoft Surface RT and the Microsoft Surface Pro both have similar batteries performance.

Microsoft Surface Pro takes much better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface RT. They have the same 1280x720 video quality, the same video frame rates and the same resolution camera.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Microsoft Surface RT. If you want to save some money, you can buy Microsoft Surface RT, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
