The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a score of 82.4, which is way better than Microsoft Surface RT's score of 58.4. Both devices in our current comparison use Windows operating system, but the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has the older 10 Pro version while Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a notably newer and somewhat thinner tablet than Microsoft Surface RT, although it's also somewhat heavier.

The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a more vivid display than Microsoft Surface RT, because it has a lot higher resolution of 2736 x 1824 pixels, a much better display pixel density and a larger display. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a much better storage capacity to store more apps and games than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 1000 GB internal memory.

The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a little faster processor than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit and 2 lesser cpu cores , it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface RT and the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) have quite similar batteries.

Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a much better camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) also has a way more mega pixels back-facing camera.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Microsoft Surface RT. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), but if you don't you can save some money and get the Microsoft Surface RT, resigning a couple specifications.
