Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 10.1 is much better than the Microsoft Surface RT, getting a 66.3 score against 58.4. Galaxy Note 10.1's construction is somewhat lighter and just a bit thinner than the Microsoft Surface RT, although they were released with only a couple of months difference. The Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with Android 4.4 operating system, while Microsoft Surface RT works with Windows RT operating system.

Galaxy Note 10.1 has a display that's very similar to the Microsoft Surface RT one, because although the Galaxy Note 10.1 has a little bit lower 800 x 1280 resolution and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little better pixel quantity in each screen inch. The Microsoft Surface RT counts with a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have 4 cores and a 2 GB RAM memory, the Microsoft Surface RT also has a graphics processor.

Galaxy Note 10.1 features a better storage capacity for applications and games than Microsoft Surface RT. They have the same internal memory. The Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 video definition, the Galaxy Note 10.1 also has a lot higher 5 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface RT.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Microsoft Surface RT. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, else you can save some money and buy the Microsoft Surface RT, giving up a couple features and specs.
