Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a score of 63, which is a little bit better than the Microsoft Surface RT's overall score of 58.4. The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE works with Android 4.4.2 operating system, while Microsoft Surface RT counts with Windows RT operating system. Even when Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE and Microsoft Surface RT were only released 7 months apart, Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a bit thinner and lighter.

Microsoft Surface RT has a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface RT also has an extra graphics processing unit. Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE features a display that's very similar to Microsoft Surface RT's display, because although the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a quite lower 800 x 1280 resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher pixel quantity per display inch.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE counts with a battery life that is very similar to Microsoft Surface RT's battery lifetime.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Microsoft Surface RT. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Microsoft Surface RT, resigning a couple features and specifications.
