The Microsoft Surface RT has a global score of 58.4, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1's overall score of 58.1. The Microsoft Surface RT design is newer, but somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT operating system, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 works with Android 4.0.4 operating system.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a bit smaller display and a quite lower 800 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a little greater screen density. Microsoft Surface RT features a greater processing power than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has more cores and an extra GPU.
