Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface RT, with a general score of 60.7 against 58.4. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s construction is just a bit thicker but incredibly lighter than Microsoft Surface RT, and both of them were released only 4 months apart. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) works with Android 4.1 operating system, and Microsoft Surface RT works with Windows RT operating system.
Microsoft Surface RT has a better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a higher number of cores, a graphics processing unit and 1 GB more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a little bit better screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a much smaller screen and a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024px, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per screen inch.
