Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is much better than Microsoft Surface RT, getting a 65.6 score against 58.4. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's body is newer, a little bit thinner and way lighter than the Microsoft Surface RT. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 comes with Android 4.4.2 OS, while Microsoft Surface RT comes with Windows RT OS.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a sharper display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1280 x 800px and a much smaller display, it also counts with a greater amount of pixels per inch in the screen. The Microsoft Surface RT has a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have 4 cores, the Microsoft Surface RT also has a higher amount of RAM and an additional graphics co-processor.
The Microsoft Surface RT features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a much better battery performance than Microsoft Surface RT. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a way better camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also has a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 costs more than Microsoft Surface RT, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
