Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a score of 70, which is much better than Microsoft Surface RT's 58.4 global score. Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a newer and extremely lighter device than Microsoft Surface RT, but it is also just a little thicker. Galaxy Tab Active 2 comes with Android 9.0 Pie operating system, while Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT operating system.
The Microsoft Surface RT and the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 both feature really similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a little bit lower resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and a way smaller display, it also counts with a greater display density. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 features just a bit better processing power than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and they are faster) and more RAM.
The Microsoft Surface RT has slightly more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a much better battery performance than Microsoft Surface RT.
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab Active 2 also has a lot better resolution camera in the back.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Microsoft Surface RT. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Microsoft Surface RT, letting go a couple specifications.
