Galaxy Tab E is just a bit better than Microsoft Surface RT, getting a general score of 60.7 against 58.4. The Galaxy Tab E comes with Android 4.4 operating system, while Microsoft Surface RT comes with Windows RT operating system. Galaxy Tab E's body is a lot newer, lighter and thinner than Microsoft Surface RT.

Microsoft Surface RT counts with a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a little bit worse screen density, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 768 x 1366 and a little bigger display. Microsoft Surface RT features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab E, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.

Microsoft Surface RT counts with just a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface RT also has an extra graphics co-processor and a larger amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab E counts with a very superior camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab E also has a lot more MP back-facing camera.
