Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy View 2 has a general score of 65.3, which is much better than Microsoft Surface RT's general score of 58.4. The Samsung Galaxy View 2 design is newer, but way thicker and notably heavier than Microsoft Surface RT. Samsung Galaxy View 2 comes with Android 8.1 Oreo OS, and Microsoft Surface RT works with Windows RT OS.
The Galaxy View 2 has just a little better processing power than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a larger number of cores. The Microsoft Surface RT features a brighter screen than Galaxy View 2, because although it has a way smaller screen and a lot worse 768 x 1366 resolution, it also counts with a little bit better amount of pixels per screen inch.
Microsoft Surface RT shoots much better videos and photos than Galaxy View 2. The Samsung Galaxy View 2 features a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Microsoft Surface RT. Both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy View 2 counts with a way better battery duration than Microsoft Surface RT.
Although Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Microsoft Surface RT. If you want to save some money, you can get the Microsoft Surface RT, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
