Comparison review

Microsoft Surface RT is a bit better than Sony Tablet S, with a 58.4 score against 57.5. Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT OS, and Sony Tablet S counts with Android 4.0 OS. The Microsoft Surface RT construction is newer and a bit thinner, but also somewhat heavier than the Sony Tablet S. The Microsoft Surface RT has a better CPU than Sony Tablet S, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory, an extra GPU and a greater number of faster cores.

Sony Tablet S counts with a screen that is just as good as Microsoft Surface RT's display, because although the Sony Tablet S has a little lower 800 x 1280px resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display. The Microsoft Surface RT features a little bit better memory for applications and games than Sony Tablet S, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.

Sony Tablet S shoots a lot better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same (HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Sony Tablet S also has a back-facing camera with much more megapixels. The Sony Tablet S features a superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface RT.

Microsoft Surface RT not only is the best tablets between the ones we are comparing here, but it's also by far the cheapest, making it very easy to pick between these tablets.
