The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has a general score of 65.7, which is better than the Microsoft Surface RT's score of 58.4. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 design is notably newer, much lighter and much thinner than the Microsoft Surface RT. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 comes with Android OS, while Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT OS.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with a better screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch in the display and a lot higher 1536 x 2048px resolution. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features as much storage capacity for games and applications as the Microsoft Surface RT, and although the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has no external memory card slot, they both have equal internal storage capacity.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 also has a much higher resolution back facing camera.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with a way better battery duration than Microsoft Surface RT.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is a lot more expensive than the Microsoft Surface RT, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
