LG G Pad 8.3's design is newer, incredibly lighter and a bit thinner than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but LG G Pad 8.3 has a more recent 4.4 version while Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has Android 3.2.
