The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is much better than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, having a 74.4 score against 63.2. Both tablets in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has Android 3.2 version, providing you a couple additional features and performance tweaks. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 design is noticeably newer, incredibly thinner and noticeably lighter than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a way better looking display than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater pixel density and a lot better resolution of 2560 x 1600px. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 128 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a more powerful processor than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with more RAM and a higher number of faster cores. The Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 captures clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, although it has a way worse video definition and a way less megapixels camera.
Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has a much longer battery life than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity against 4900mAh.
