Comparison review
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is way better than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, getting a score of 67.9 against 55.1. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a newer tablet, and it's also noticeably thinner and extremely lighter than the Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi. Both of these tablets use Android OS (operating system), but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has newer 4.4 version and Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi has Android 4.1.2.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a much more vibrant display than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher 1600 x 2560 resolution and much more pixels per inch of screen. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with just a bit more storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
