Microsoft Surface 3 has a score of 66.3, which is way better than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi's 55.1 overall score. The Microsoft Surface 3 construction is extremely newer, lighter and much thinner than the Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi. The Microsoft Surface 3 features a superior hardware performance than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because it has a larger number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Microsoft Surface 3 features a little bit better display than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because it has a much higher resolution of 1920 x 1280px, a quite larger screen and a higher screen density. The Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi captures clearer photos and videos than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a lot less MP back facing camera and a way worse video quality.
The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a way bigger memory for games and applications than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory. The Microsoft Surface 3's battery life is very similar to the Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi one.
