Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a global score of 68.7, which is way better than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi's 55.1 global score. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's body is newer, noticeably thinner and notably lighter than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi. Both of these tablets work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has the newer 4.2.2 version and Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi has Android 4.1.2.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a little bit better screen than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also counts with a higher pixel density. The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a slightly bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB.

Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch and Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi both have incredibly similar cameras, they have the same (HD) video resolution, the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same resolution camera.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes it a great choice.
