The Galaxy Tab Active is a lot better than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, getting a general score of 67 against 55.1. These tablets come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab Active has a newer 4.4 version while Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi has Android 4.1.2 version, so it provides you some nice extra features and some performance improvements. The Galaxy Tab Active body is notably newer, noticeably thinner and notably lighter than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi.
Galaxy Tab Active has a bit superior CPU than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because it has 2 more cpu cores, a graphics processing unit and a larger amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab Active features a better screen than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because although it has a much smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800, the Galaxy Tab Active also counts with a better pixels number in each display inch.
The Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi features more storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has a SD memory slot that supports 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Tab Active features a really longer battery life than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi.
Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab Active, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality, the Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi also has a much better 5 mega pixels resolution back camera.
Galaxy Tab Active is more expensive than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
