Sony Xperia Tablet Z has an overall score of 68.5, which is much better than the Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi's global score of 55.1. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a newer tablet, and it is also extremely thinner and way lighter than the Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi. Both devices we compare here include Android OS, but Sony Xperia Tablet Z has the newer 4.4.4 version while Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi has Android 4.1.2 version, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features and enhanced performance.

Xperia Tablet Z has a lot better display than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, and although they both have a same size screen, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a much greater amount of pixels per display inch and a lot higher 1200 x 1920 resolution. The Xperia Tablet Z has a better processing power than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, because it has a greater amount of RAM, more CPU cores and a graphics co-processor.

The Xperia Tablet Z features a bit more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 64 GB. The Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi counts with a slightly better camera than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, although it has a way worse video resolution and a camera with a lot lower 5 MP resolution.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a very superior battery performance than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi.

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a lot more expensive than Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
