Comparison review
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is way better than the Motorola XOOM, having a 67.9 score against 55.9. These devices have Android OS (operating system), but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has the newer 4.4 version and Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0 version. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a way newer tablet, and it's also notably lighter and thinner than Motorola XOOM.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a much better display than Motorola XOOM, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much greater pixels density and a much higher 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a more powerful processor than Motorola XOOM, because it has a greater number of cores (and faster) and a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with slightly more memory capacity to install applications and games than Motorola XOOM, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage. Motorola XOOM and Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 have quite similar cameras, although the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has a way higher (Full HD) video definition and a way more mega-pixels back facing camera.
